Upon your acceptance of Terms, we may collect certain personal information to provide you with a seamless B Glasses experience:

Name and contact details — to personalize communication and your profile.
Photos and videos — captured through B Glasses for device functionality during AI usage.
Voice recordings — to process voice commands and enhance recognition accuracy.
Location data — to assist with navigation and context-aware suggestions.
Device and usage data — to ensure optimal performance and pairing.
We do not collect browsing history, purchase data, financial data, or passwords.
You're in controlManage or revoke any permissions anytime in your phone's System Settings or under App Permissions.

Data Usage

Your data helps B deliver a hands-free, intelligent experience. We use it to:

Process voice commands, audio recordings, and gestures.
Provide translation, navigation, and timely reminders.
Synchronize media captured on your glasses and app.
Generate summaries, transcripts, insights, and personalized guidance.
Maintain performance, connectivity, and software updates.

How AI Uses Your Data

Certain interactions — such as voice commands, image prompts, transcripts, and usage patterns — may be used to improve B's AI systems under strict privacy controls.

Anonymized & ProtectedData used for AI training is anonymized and is never sold or shared beyond authorized systems.
Important NoteNo decisions with legal or significant impact should be made solely based on AI output.

Bystander Privacy & Third-Party Rights

Duty to Inform: Users are responsible for obtaining consent from bystanders before recording in public.
Recording Indicators: Users must not obscure the visual indicators on the hardware that notify others when recording is active.

Data Sharing

We never sell your data.Your personal information is not sold to any third party under any circumstances.

Data may be shared only in these limited, transparent cases:

With trusted service providers (e.g., voice-to-text APIs, secure cloud storage) to power app functionality.
For legal or regulatory compliance, or upon government requests.
Features like Look & Tell, Live AI, Meeting Notes, and Voice Assistance transmit relevant input data to Lenskart servers or authorized third-party AI providers. Real-time interactions are not retained unless required.
Some AI capabilities are powered by third-party providers including Google Gemini. Input data (voice, text, images) may be shared solely to deliver requested functionality.
With third-party apps you authorize (e.g., Google Maps, Calendar) to enable integrated features.

All third-party partners follow similar levels of confidentiality and data-protection standards.

Control & Choice

You're always in charge of what you share and how it's used. Subject to applicable laws, you have the right to:

You may appoint a Consent Manager to act on your behalf regarding your privacy choices.

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as needed to deliver services, improve reliability, enable feature functionality, and meet legal obligations.

You can request deletion of your data or account anytime, with confirmations provided upon completion.
Where AI processing involves servers outside India, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with the DPDPA 2023.

Children's Privacy

Age Requirement: 13+B Glasses and the B app are intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect or store data from children under this age.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

If cookies or similar tracking technologies are used on associated websites or in-app, you will be informed and can manage preferences through cookie banners or system/device settings.

Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal data, you will be notified promptly in accordance with applicable laws, along with steps to mitigate any impact.

Updates to This Policy

We may update our data practices as technology and regulations evolve. Any significant changes will be shared in-app, and you'll always have the option to review them before continuing to use Lenskart products.

By registration, you authorize us to send SMS/email alerts or phone calls to you for login details, service requirements, or advertising messages from Lenskart.
